Project NexTech Executive Committee Member

About Project NexTech

Project NexTech is a student-led international nonprofit organization that teaches custom science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) curricula to students at schools, libraries, and community centers worldwide. The organization has more than 400 members and has taught over 1,800 students in 18 countries. As an Executive Committee Member, I help plan and execute events, workshops, and programs designed to introduce students to cutting-edge fields in technology.

My role

As part of the executive committee, I am among the top seven people helping manage the organization. My responsibilities include:

• Planning and organizing technology-focused workshops and events
• Collaborating with team members to develop educational content
• Helping students discover opportunities in computer science and technology
• Contributing to strategic decisions about the direction of the organization

Impact

Through Project NexTech, I have had the opportunity to help other students explore areas of technology they might not have encountered otherwise. It has been rewarding to combine my technical interests with leadership and community building.
